Rachel Wyman is a dance-based artist and somatic therapist from Walla Walla whose joy and mission is to help others connect with their bodily intelligence, especially through movement! She was introduced to dance with Nancy Wells and daughters Justine and Jen in the early 90s and has 20+ years of extensive training and performance in a range of dance forms. She studied folkloric Malian dances with Les Ballets Malien in Bamako, Mali, performed traditional Ivorian dances and drum rhythms as part of Kotchegna Dance Company in New York City, and has studied and performed traditional Haitian dances in Haiti and New York City with Julio Jean, Peniel Guerrier, and Adia Whittaker. She has been a student of Simonson technique for 12 years under teachers Katiti King, Te Perez-Ceccon, and Laurie De Vito, and worked directly with Lynn Simonson for Lynn’s final 32-hour group Simonson Method Teacher Training in August 2025.
